Time to stand up: critical issues

I am appealing to all who are on our list as Tea Party participators.  Forget April 15th as the great rally, because our most critical dates are in front of us.  We have health care being taken over by the federal government in various versions of health care legislation.  We are facing a continued fight in the Senate about cap and trade, and extra thousands in tax to all of us every year.  We have made progress in slowing down these bills.  More and more people are learning the facts and standing up to be counted in the fight.  I hope each and every one of us that can attend our next two events will come out and stand up against Congress.

***Friday, August 28th, 12:00-1:00 PM EDT, 18 Ninth St (Cong Bishop's office), protest.
This is the kickoff for the T"ea Party Express and this protest will be part of a national event.  The start of the Express in Sacramento: 40,000-50,000 protesters are expected.  Truckers are coming in from other states.  We need to show our solidarity with the movement across the country.  We will have media coverage, and possibly counter-protesters from Organizing for America.  Please make every effort to be there with your sign - against government run health care or cap and trade.

***Saturday, September 12th, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM EDT, rally and protest march, starting at Government Center on NInth St.  This is the date of national march on Washington - 12 groups have joined together for this protest event: Freedom Works, Tax Payers Union, Campaign for Liberty,TPP, and so on.  For those who cannot attend the march and protest in DC, tea parties across the country will be holding local events to add to the number of protesters nationwide.  We will hold a brief rally, then march to Veterans Pkwy and circle back to rallying point.  More details to follow.
Please mark your calendars and attend these critical events.

None of us can afford to sit back and hope others fighting for us will be enough.
Let freedom ring.....
